From the Google Maps listings of companies and organizations in Austria, which we collect ourselves, and from the companies’ websites (email addresses and social media). Each update adds new listings and removes those that the source marks as closed.
Name, sector, main category and other categories (for example “Dentist — Orthodontist, Dental hygienist”), chain, state, region, city, postal code, address, coordinates, phone numbers (with a mobile flag), website, email, social media, a flag for published opening hours and the date the listing was added. One row per company, XLSX and CSV in UTF-8.
Your file contains the companies that public sources list as active at the time of the export. The date of the data is shown at the top of every page.
All companies and organizations in Austria with a Google Maps listing that the source lists as active, in 17 sectors: Food and drink, Retail, Health and medicine, Beauty and wellness, Sports and fitness, Education and childcare, Culture, leisure and events, Associations, churches and authorities, Business services, Construction, trades and real estate, Finance and insurance, Hotels and tourism, Home, pets and personal services, Automotive and mobility, Transport and logistics, Industry and wholesale, Agriculture and forestry. A company belongs to the sector of its main category. Not included are listings that are not organizations: bus stops and train stations, parking lots and charging stations, buildings and residential complexes, parks, playgrounds, hiking trails, sights and natural features, ATMs, public toilets, sports fields and cemeteries.
640,571 active companies and organizations in 3,589 categories, all 9 states and 10,186 cities. 124,213 of them belong to chains; the rest are independent.
80% of the companies have a phone number (258,936 with a mobile number), 69% a website, 29% social media and 51% published opening hours. 226,201 companies (35%) have an email address; these come from the companies’ websites. All rows have an address and coordinates. The fill rate of each state, sector and category is shown on its page.
Every location of a chain carries its name: Postbriefkasten, Raiffeisenbank and SPAR and thousands of smaller chains. The source groups listings of the same brand, even with different company names and franchisees. In the ranking and with their own page — chains with at least two locations in the database.
The state — from the source listing (it follows the postal code of the address); if it is missing, from the postal code, otherwise from the city. The city (Graz, Wiener Neustadt, districts of Vienna …) — from the locality of the address, with name variants unified; Vienna is split into its 23 districts by postal code.
Listings that the source marks as closed are removed with every update; the file contains the companies that are listed as active at the time of the export.

All of Austria costs 530 € (640,571 companies). A state costs between 40 € and 160 €, depending on the number of companies. A sector for all of Austria is cheaper — Food and drink costs 70 €, Health and medicine — 90 €; a single category (dentists, architects, hairdressers …) has a price calculated with the same method. All locations of a chain from 30 €.
Yes. Check one or more sectors in the configurator — the count and the price adjust; this works for all of Austria and for the selected states. You can also take only chains or only independent companies: all chain locations cost 160 €, all independents — 430 €. You buy a single category (for example dentists or architects) on its page — categories with 20 companies or more are sold separately; smaller ones are part of their sector.
The price of a state depends on the number of its companies, while the complete database comes with a large discount: the 4 largest states already cost more separately. If the selected states cost more than the whole country with the same selection, your order becomes the whole country at its price.
Yes. Cities with their own page (from 50 companies) are sold separately: the price is the share of the price of their state by number of companies, from 10 €. In the purchase panel, the arrow next to a state opens its cities: you can select several, a sector or a category, and only chains or only independents. If the selected cities cost as much as the whole state or more, the state is sold at its price. Smaller cities are part of their state; the file has columns for the city and the postal code.
Yes: every page has a free CSV sample with 20 rows and all columns — for the whole country, a sector, a category, a state, a city and a chain. The contact details in the sample are partly masked.
